A Layered Felted Brooch

This brooch represents a body of work that calls me to juxtapose many different embellishments on the surface of felt, I sew seed beads and sequins onto the surface of wool felt. I love the relationships that emerge between different sizes and finishes of beads that often have a shiny or faceted surface, they complement the all absorptive surface of the wool. This brooch measures approx. 3 1/4"x 1 7/8".
